Maroun.c 390 G build thread

Hey Syed,
Thanks.
Been some time we didn't see any pics of your setup. Hope to be able to see it in person again soon.

Frags
To begin with a few frags that have gone the whole ordeal (2-3 years where other corals wouldn't last more than 10 days in the tank) with browning or lack of PE or growth. and have just started coloring up and showing some growth. Was a great feeling when I saw these small, insignificant frags come back to life, Color up and grow.

Couple of pocilloporas:
Green and pink (so far brownish) poci with a digitata that has just recovered it's green.

Green and Red Monti.
We didn't get green montis frequently here in 2009-2010. And this green and the red one were in my old tank and distributed heavily in Lebanon, Saudi and Dubai... till they became Maroun Red and Green Montis :)
Recovered a couple of frags from couple of reefers from saudi and UAE (as most others had lost them) and they were infected with Nudis, So they spent 3 months in Quarantine with weekly dips till they were clean and made it back to the DT.

Myagi tort:

This one was fully brown and looks totally dry and dead. its now nearly back to it's amazing dark blue.

Couple of sad updates
Had this copperhand since 12 months and was the perfect citizen, Adapted to eating frozen quite fast, had it's 2-3 rounds with prazi while in Quarantine, Ate tubeworms and Aptasia in the introduction tank and when it went up to the tank it eliminated a nasty infection of Tubeworms I had and then shifted to Aptasias and took them all out. After that it kept eating frozen. During that time the stomach remained pinched and it never fattened up although it was eating well and I was soaking foods in Vitamins. I resorted to hand feeding and a couple of feeding methods in the video below to make sure it was getting a good amount of food daily. Despite all that it didn't fatten up and I lost it 2 weeks back.

To make it worse last week my 16 years old maroon clown female developed a swollen belly and stopped eating. Not sure if its some intestinal blockage or some growth that blocked her at this age… unfortunately it only lasted 5-6 days. Was a nasty feeling to net the fish out while the male was still at her side and attacking the net to defend her. Some pictures of it throughout the years.

2 weeks late end of year update.
in the last 2-3 months continued to add more corals, tried to add mini colonies or tiny frags except in the places where the corals had enough space to grow without space issues with other ones next to them. This will allow me to shape the frags as they grow into the shape I have in mind for the tank, might turn out to be only wishful thinking though:)
