MARS garage sale?

Sooo... I heard awhile back the rumblings of a potential MARS garage sale, where everyone with extra crap - I mean dry goods - brings them all in one place for a reef garage sale extravaganza!

Any truth to this and/or interest? I for one have lots to get rid of to make room in the shop. I am seriously talking about "Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!!" type of deals to clear things out.

I am hoping Paul, our newly elected PR person, pipes in with whether or not this rumor had any substance to it.

MARS swap meet! That is a fantastic idea. I'm down to help in any way I can to make this happen.

I don't know if the LFS would go for it, but such an event would draw quite a crowd if flyers were posted at the LFS. Hell, you might be able to even coerce an LFS to sponsor the event... such things happen all the time for Ski and Snowboard swap meets.

Ok, ok, I admit - I in part started those nasty rumors, but I think it would be a great thing to do, so what better way to see something happen then to call ya out like this?

BTW - however I can help, please let me know. I have a fantastic grill for the grub, and other items that could result in a little more $$$ for the MARS coffers (just an idea). Nothing like a good 'ol fashion summer reef'n swap meet to geek out on with some tasty vittles and good company.
