To join MARS register on the MARS website...

and e-mail the club secretary...

about where to send the check.
I don't think anyone would object of you went on forever using this forum without being a member. If you want to participate in any of the MARS member only activities (like frag swaps) you will have to become a member.
Out of curiosity, why can't you make the meetings?

I'm sure I could make a couple of the meetings, it would be just much more convenient for me if the meetings were closer in Sac
To be honest, I have more free time now that I'm settled into my job and I'd like to meet some more locals with the same interests as myself (none of my friends are even remotely interested in aquariums) 
I'll check out the site and get all set up.

Funny thing is I have never been to one myself, but have met you before at O st I believe. I bet we would be suprised how many familiar faces you would see from trolling the LFS on the weekends!!! Would be nice to finaly put some names to faces.
I have to say though, everyone that I have met through the run ins at the LFS or trading/buying/selling from has always been a pleasure to meet.

I'm with Jim. I was out of town, or I would've been at the MARS meeting last Friday. As someone who benefits from the community, it only seems fair to officially join and pay dues.
I tried to go to the MARS website to download the application, but it looks like they dramatically changed the website and I can't figure out where the form is... I sent an email using the link to the secretary, but haven't received a response. OK, OK, I know they're volunteers. Anyway, just would like to do my part. Thanks.

Hey Kevin
The new website registration is the membership "app". Just fill it out and pay your dues. If you can't make it to the meetings e-mail the club secretary (see above) to arrange payment.
