So I sold my red dragon and bubble gum digi colonies, and today I took them out of the tank. It was insane how big the red dragon was. Check out these pics.
This was the biggest piece I could get to fit out of the tank. Everything else cane out as mini colonies.
Another big chunk
Bubble gum digi
The red dragon base. As the top grew bigger and denser, the base would die little at a time.
All red dragon base
The orange bucket was all red dragon. The small white bucket was the big red dragon piece and it wouldn't fit in the bucket.
The bigger white bucket was bubblegum digi
My tank looks way different now with them gone. I'm removing the starburst monti next. This will give me some more room for new frags. It took about 4 hours to cut out both colonies. It was like doing surgery, I didn't want to destroy other corals taking them out. It was tough.
