Master DOC 9440 and Hydrofoamer

I have the original Master DOC 9440 with the new lower energy pumps. An issue I have is that after screwing on the Hydrofoamer it doesn't usually end up vertical and if I don't turn it till it stops, it tends to rotate while in use and ending up much less than vertical. Is there a suggestion on how I can get the Hydrofoamers to stay vertical?

Teflon tape or a small oring or hose gasket. Being vertical is not too critical just so long as the intakes are submerged.
