Master DOC vs. Beckett injected skimmer?

After about a month of trying to decide which skimmer to get i have narrowed it down to your Master DOC 9420 and a Precision Marine Bullet 2. I calculated it out and the PM bullet would cost about $300 more over a 5 year period (this is including the initial purchase cost and electricity). i am wondering though how the 9420 stacks up against the Bullet 2 (a beckett injected)?

If you ever get down to Austin they are running the 9440 on the show tank at AquaTek. I have never used a downdraft skimmer for the reason you mention and I have also found they need too much adjustment for my tastes.
