master recirc pump problem

I have a(I think)1073.030 pump that is about 8 months old and picked it up the other day and heard it making a noise I took off the back cover and the epoxy that is in there is coming apart. I am scared to use as I am scared it might start to let water into the pump. Any help would be appreciated

Can you send me the pump? I have never seen this before and we use a very hard polyurethane resin, short of a few drip or dribbles that are inconsequential coming loose, I couldn't imagine the actual potting coming loose.
