Can you confirm with me that this pump is salt water safe as I want to install it in a sump as I am limited on space and I understand that it may be a little quieter. Also does tunze make any pad to place it on in the sump for vibration. Lastly does it add any heat to the system? Its going to be roughly 160 gallons

It is a fairly large pump and I would not consider it silent, it is a bit quieter than air cooled pumps but if you are used to small Mag Drives and Eheims this is a much louder pump. It is saltwater safe, it uses about 150W so it definietly will add heat to the water.
