Masterstream 6508.500 magnet holder

I was reading through the manual for the 6508.000 and I see conflicting max thickness of material that the magnet holder 6508.500 will work through. On page 15 it says max thickness of 40mm and on page 31 it says 30mm.

I've been helping a friend work on a 2500 gallon display which is in desperate need for some more flow. A pair of the 6508.000 masterstreams paired with a 7096 looks like it would fit the bill nicely for what we're trying to accomplish. If the max thickness is 40mm then the holders should work, but if its only 30mm then we'd have to come up with some other solution to mount them.

I will need to double check, all of my literature says 1.18" or 30mm, I know we discussed increasing this before release and while we have recieved 2 of each masterstream this year, we have not yet recieved any magnet holders or accessories. In my opinion the best mount is just a 1" pipe coming down from a bulkhead in the top bracing of the tank. It just clamps onto the pipe. The magnet holder is very bulky and so far all users have used the pipe method.
