Max spect Razor or Radion gen 2

You know really though for 250$..more like 300 if no bulbs for the MH. A radion costs you what 650 or so...as long as the fixture lasts it really pays for itself as if you change bulbs in MH every 9-12 months at.. at least 60-100 for a good bulb add the years...you easily hit 600 bucks total for a single MH system in 5-6 years. Thats the thing I like about the LED at the moment is that you get what you pay for it..not paying for it then changing bulbs ten times to get what you like. And with the control options for most of the LED's you can adjust exactly the color you want. My 2 cents for LED's

If you Can afford the radions you will not be disappointed , I just switched from 400 radium and 150 vho over a 30x30x31deep and will never go back to MH. This is just my opinion and I think you will be happy in the end if you go with them. I don't know much about the other fixture so maybe someone else can chim in.
Trueblackpercula.... How many Radions did you place over your cube? Is the spread from one ok to provide good coverage to the edges of the 30x30? I have a 30x30x18 and i am looking to place one Radion over the tank (replacing a 24" ecoxotic Panorama) but I'm concerned about coverage.

On your budget, forget the Radions. You would need over 2x your budget. So that leaves us with the Razor. However I would recommend 2 of the 20.5" Razors for your tank as opposed to 1 27". So if Led is the route you want to go, run your MHs until you save another $200 and get the 2 20.5" Razors or save another $700 for 2 Radions.

I take it that you are in So Cal, we have a tier system here, I am at about 30 kwh. I noticed in your picture that you have passive cooling, you could some computer fans in there to exhaust the air, blow out not in.
