Max wall thickness for 6025/6045....

Can Roger or anyone else answer this for me?
I'm planning on buying either a 6025 or 6045 but most online vendor sites says the max wall thickness is 1/2". I remember Roger saying that they will work on 3/4" thick acrylic. I just want to verify this again before I buy them.
Will the 6025 or 6045 attach to 3/4" thick acrylic? Please help....

Both use the same magnet holder and it is good up to 3/4".
