maxi jet attachment options?

hi
i have three maxi jets 295gph ones, anybody know of any mods, besides the magfloat mod? i really hate the suction cups, the magfloat wont work because the kids pull them off to see the power head flyaround, and my tank has a lip so i cant use the hangers???

im hopeing someone know a way to upgrade to diff suction cups, i have a seio and have never had it fall or come off easy for cleaning
