Maxi Mini Carpet Anemone

Looks like you have the mini version, which for me, split and walk like crazy....
I have always stuck with small offerings of mysis shrimp once or twice a month. IME they prefer the rock work which is where I would start, if it doesn't like it there it will move on it own. Lighting requirements vary, it would help to know what you have and a little info on your overall setup. There are no compatible clowns, this is not a hosting species of anemone.

Looks like a maxi to me. Once it opens up and lays flat, it will be much bigger than it is in the pic.
I feed mine mysis and krill pretty much every day when I feed the rest of the tank. You surely don't have to feed that much though.

That'll be a Maxi Mini. The only Mini Carpets I've seen are the same color and only reach about the size of a quarter. They multiply rapidly too.
I'd feed it just like a regular carpet only smaller meals (1-2 mysis or 4-5 brine is what I feed). They're more hardy than BTAs even and can be propagated relatively easily (same way as a BTA). They will attach wherever they like, but all mine are on rocks, so it's a good bet. They will not host clowns. Anything else just let me know, I love these guys!

Yes, there are 2 'versions' of mini-maxi (S. tapetum). The mini which are the size of a quarter and regularly split, then the maxi which I have seen get up to 5" (these tend not to split as much as the mini, if at all)
From the look of it to me, you have a mini but as Elegance coral mentioned, it does look closed up so could very well be a maxi. Give it some time to settle in a little and it will inflate to it's regular size.
