I have been testing the sureflow with the new prop for several weeks now and I am loving it. The magnet mount is nice and the bracket is the best so far. The new prop for the mj1200 should be shipping soon. Also I like the fact that you can mount two of the sure flows using a single magnet.

hmm you can lol, i might need another maxi mod

I just got an email from Matt at Triton and they have shipped my order for 2 GS2s with the new ball-joint mount...yippeee...

little update about my ecomod kits...
Hello Ryan,

Just to keep you updated, the new 316 stainless steel shafts are in our
factory and we are testing them right now. They should be stateside by
early next week and we will then expedite the shafts to your home address.
Thank you for your patience.

Thanks for your Support!

i'm guessing 316 is good for salt water?

Seagirl I got that same email about having to reproduce them... I can forward you the new email if you want...

Hello -

We were able to quickly resolve the bracket problem we had and got the correct brackets in just in time to ship. We apologize for the extended time taken to send your order out and hope you enjoy the GS2.

Many people want to see pictures of the new bracket. I took a few quick snap shots of the bracket which can be found here - http://www.tritonaquatics.com/ballbracket.jpg

www.tritonaquatics.com will be updated in the near future so the new bracket is represented in all of the pics on the site.

Also, this bracket comes free with the GS2. Magnetic brackets are coming in a few short weeks which can be purchased separately if you would choose to use those over the suction cup bracket. Both brackets come standard with a ball-joint.

Thank you again,

Matt Lutz

it's nice that the gs2 has a ball joint, but it still has suction cups....

Yes but what's to stop you from getting a couple rare earth magnets I recommended previously and glue those on this bracket? It would still be cheaper than buying a magnet mount IMO.

I ordered on Mon night, but heard no news...usually other web site they have a feed back to comfirm the order has gone thru..but this one is quitet...

D:
Those 60# magnets are deadly, I ordered 8 of them and the magnetic force was so strong that after pulling one apart they came back together that I got the meat of my finger caught in between not once but twice. I've a bloody finger with a bubble and have to wait till it heal before tring again. Careless old me! :(

Sterilize a needle, wipe the bubble area w/ rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Lance the bubble with the needle. This should release the pressure from the blood blister, (yes, you will bleed, but it wont hurt) and will actually relieve the pain from the swelling.

D... which ones of the ones that you listed for this can just be used "as is", just glued straight on... ...don't have to be put into something ie. epoxy etc, before they can go into the tank?

thanks!

Again I have to warn folks about how incredibly strong these magnets are. You CAN and WILL injure yourself if you are not careful just ask flameangel88 :)

As for what magnets to use, go to the first page of this thread. You don't NEED to 80lb ones (re: overkill), these are what I use on mine

http://www.kjmagnetics.com/proddetail.asp?prod=BX0X06BR

Basically one on the inside the tank and another like it on the outside.

Since the outside magnets will not be in water, there is no need for corrosion resistant coating, I opted to use the cheaper non coated ones instead.

Just a thought in response to you dhnguyen, some people may want to get two coated magnets so that they have an option to mount the maxijets on their overflow box as well as the glass, at least that is what I am doing. Just an idea for future flexibility of mounting these pumps.
