can you take the stock pump off a 24 and put a maxi 1200 straight on to the pipe that the stock pump was fitted to?

um...i think so..look at the maxijet specs online and see what the size fittings are. I think they're all the same but i may be wrong.

I just replaced the stock pump with the MJ1200. I had to connect a piece of smaller tubing to the pump and then stick it inside the stock tube to the output. The stock tube was way too big.

The venturi fitting didn't fit the hole? I thought that would work on the AP 24.

Not sure what a venturi is, but I tried all the pieces and parts and couldn't get any of them to fit in the stock tube.
