Maxima mantle stung

how long does it usually take for a maxima clams mantle to heal itself mine was stung by my torch pretty bad and a big chunk is missing. this happened about 2 weeks ago and i thought it was a gonner but the res tof the mantle has since came out and looked just as if it never happened and it has its sensitivity to shadow/movement back

if there is a piece missing from the mantle i would take a look at your fish / inverts. the mantle should recover in time but it will vary depending on how bad the damage is.
