Maxima not open

I bought maxima about 2 day ago, still today the clam still not open fully. I also have crocea, he open fine.
In the tank I have pair of Flame Wrasse, Red Margin wrasse(female), Blue Flasher wrasse, and pair of clown fish. Also have 2 cleaner shrimp and 3 pepermint shrimp.

was he open and happy at the LFS?

you could try covering the clam with a half a pop bottle ( with some holes so the water can get through ) and see if he starts to open. i would keep an eye on the wrasses, they can be trouble for clams.

I second a4twentys suggestion. Watch those wrasses and the clowns if it close to where they host.

I thought flasher and fairy wrasse are reef safe?

reef safe doesn't always mean clam safe and some fish have a tendency to nip. keep an eye on the shrimp too, they can get overly interested in your clams as well.

It been 3 days already since I had this clam. Today the clam still not open fully, but when I try to move the clam it attach to the rock alrady. Is that mean the clam is healty? Coz my crocea is fully open but the clam is not attach to the rock yet.
