maxima placement

I have an 8 inch Maxima that I have placed up on the rocks. Due to the size, this is probably the only place I can put him besides on the sand below. My question is there is good amount of flow. The mantel is not flapping but the exhalent siphon seems to be fluttering. Is this ok? He seems to be taking hold of the rock so I assume he is happy there.

It should be ok as long as the mantle isnt getting folded over.

Johnny,
I looked today and the clam attached itself pretty good, so it must be happy. I don't think I could move it if I wanted to now. I liked it on the bottom in the sand, but my dragon goby kept dropping sand all over it. I would have to blow it off 2 to 3 times per day.
