Maxima sinking

I placed my 3 inch maxima on the substrate when I got it last Dec. 24. Now it is half-way down the sand and tilted sideways but it's mantle is extending wide toward the light. Shall I reposition or leave it alone?

Just leave him where he is settled as long as there is good light hitting the mantle. Usually, they will settle into the substrate in a position that they are comfortable with and should be allowed to do so unless there is some shading.

Thanks Palmetto. I will leave him alone. I don't want to stress my first clam by moving it unnecessarily.
