maximas losing color

I have two new 2 1/2" blue maximas that are fading slowly. What causes them to lose color like that? my water parameters are correct. 6 watts per gallon of light. I feed DT's twice week. and I have other larger 6" gigas, derasa, and Croceas that reamin colorful.

what type of lighting do you have?? ( type, kelvin, wattage, etc )

where are the clams in the tank?

how did you acclimate them??
