I've never heard of the airlines re-oxygenating shipments, but you might be able to hire a broker to do that for you in some city that is mid-way along the flight path.
The longest shipment I've had was 54 hours for some leafy seadragons from Australia. They were TINY and packed one per huge bag. They arrived fine.
I've had domestic shipments go astray and arrive after 48 hours, but it is pretty much a cr*p shoot - very high mortality, especially in the winter.
At the very least, you'll need to instruct the shipper to "spread the pack", more than they usually do, but then you'll incurr the added freight charges.
