Maxspect Gyre 350

Hi, I have one Maxspect Gyre 350 that I currently run on 10%. The flow is too low, but the next higher level at 20% is already so strong that my sand blows around.

Is there a possibility to tune the Gyre more finely to say 15% ??? Havent found anything about that.

Nope..
You may want to look at changing is location or even adding coarser sand..

If the tank is new it can take a few weeks for a bacterial "coating" to grow on the sand which will help secure it a bit better than when its brand new.

Thanks for that reply. The tank is still pretty new with 2 monhs running do I hope it will build up that bacterial coat. However, I find it unsatisfactory that maspect doesnt allow you to regulate the gyre more precisely. Theres a huge! Difference in flow between 10.and 20 percent.

Can’t you remove one side of that and run on just one until things get settled?
