Maxspect Mazarra.

Love the Maxspects I have over my 93 Gallon Cube. No issues - not even the ball joints.

I've had two S-series lights for two months and have had no problems with them. Looking forward to getting at least two more soon. All my coral seem to be happy. Looking over other LEDs in the same price range, they appear to be a great value!

Well, I added 2 more modules to my tank to help with some dark areas in the front. Now I have 10 modules in total. No bleaching. All corals appear to be happier than with the MH that I use to have in the last 3 weeks. No issues with the modules. Learned to improve the dawn/dusk mode, I set it up to 10 minutes and shifts a new area every 10 minutes from the 6 total. I really like these LED lights. The PAR readings are the same in potency as the MH with about half the watt consumption.

Not a real glamorous tank like so many others out there, but here's a full tank shot with the Maxspect P series at 100% on all channels.

:spin1:

one thing i notice, your corals look healthy. please show your lights over the tank. one thing i am concern is the size of the mounting brackets on my 18" cube.

Thank you. It's a 38 Gal tank. Around 3 months old. I talked to one of technician at Maxspect while he was replacing the ball joint of one of lights i had problems with that they are designing another ball joint which uses a rubber bearing ball to give the ball joint more grip. I hope they'll really work on it. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the lights. Control is easy to use and the features are awesome.

The weather mode works quite well. You can obviously see parts of the light dimming as it simulates the clouds passing by.

Hmmm...I get that it's probably realistic, but in a tank in your house, is that really a good thing? I think every time I notice it dim out of the corner of my eye I'd be looking over thinking something has gone wrong. I'm just not sure I would turn on the weather feature.

I don't have one...but I'm seriously considering this fixture...

So for a 60g cube, would you do one or two fixtures? Obviously I'd hope one would cover it but judging by these photos I'm gonna need 2-3.

illcssd, i have 3 x "p" serie on a 48 x 24 x 24 softies and LPS and they give great cover. I used 100 degrees on all leads.

It is time for an update.

I worked on the double rack last week. I installed 2 more 36 inches extensions to have a total of 4. They were too long for the 72 inches of the aquarium due to the "U" frame at the ends, so I had to cut about 3 1/2 inches out of each extension and thread 2 sets of screws on them so that I could secure them. It took about 45 minutes to do this.

In the end I reduced the downward bowing effect that the multiple connections were doing. This is the final result after 10 modules are installed. No loss of corals, no bleaching.
