I spoke to Jonathon the owner of The Coral Reef in Stratford. It is a brand new shop and he would be happy for us to come over and look at what he has setup. He has lots of tanks stocked with interesting marine life.

Paradise Pizza

Across the street is Paradise Pizza, a good pizza place with a bar. The plan would be to start at the fish store then go over to the pizza place for some pizza / libations.

Met Jonathan and saw the sumps and systems in the basement. The store is very clean, has a nice starting selection on fish and the coral selection is also growing too. A lot of positive input for this store and it will only grow.

Also say hello to KRAZE from Reef Central (Kris) who will make sure you guys all find everything you need at the store in due haste.

Enjoy folks, wish I didn't work Sunday (this store is 15 minutes from home)

Good meeting BTW. Good crowd. For us, that's 7-8 people. Had some new faces too, including some kids, babies and spouses! All good stuff. :thumbsup:

And while the shop was nice - very well set up - I've got to mention that when we went across the street for snacks and brew, I had one of the best sausage grinders I've ever had. Delicious!

Off the Hook has great lobster rolls and pizza as well. It's one of my fav places.
