May meeting on the 19th

We are planning on Saturday the 19th for next month meeting. I am not sure on a time, but am looking at 1pm area. That seemed to work well for most, but speak up if you already know it won't.

To get on post you have to have a valid drivers license, your vehicles registration and insurance. You will take those to gate 4 and they will issue you a pass to come on post. I would say give yourself an extra 30 minutes of time to get through this. I can also meet people right off post and bring them on, and then all you need is a government issued ID (license...)

lol, I have the camera I can't find the cord to charge it though. I will hopefully soon, or I will have to start searching ebay for a new cord.

I had my surgery on Wednesday, and my doctor let me out of Jennie Stuart today. I am having a very difficult time getting around, moving, standing, sitting...you name it. I go back to see the doc on the 8th. Surely I will feel up to making the meeting on the 19th., but we'll have to see.

I will not be able to attend this months meeting... got a wedding and got to work and the next weekend will be camping so... boss says no more days off!

Let us know who can make it so that I can pm or post up the directions to get here or see who will need to be picked up outside the gate.

Terry & Terrie and John, do y'all have post decals or will you need to stop at Gate 4 for a pass? Once I know that, I can give you both the most accurate directions from where you need to come in at.

Same goes for everyone else, if you have a decal, I will give a quicker set of directions than if you need a pass due to where we live in relation to the gates.

Aww come on, we just bought one of pet palace's former tank setups. It is a 75 gallon with a stand, a 1/4hp chiller, a UV sterilizer, sump, and pump. Not a bad deal for $200 I think. Will have to do a little work to make it more presentable, but it will be our next project to undertake.

Also, if anyone wants a frag of kenya tree, anthelia, or buttons, come prepared, I have a lot to give up. I have been trying to thin the colony of anthelia in the PC 24gal, but Pet Palace has been overloaded on corals lately and hasn't been taking in anything.

JohnnyW; is that from some of the Anthelia I give you a few months ago? Darn stuff! I have some Halimeda plant I can bring if anyone is interested.

Dave

Oh yeah Dave, thats the stuff. I have to constantly thin out the colony to make sure that it doesn't overtake the rock. Would be fine to have a larger colony in a larger tank, but not in the 24 gallon pod.
Its a great hardy coral, but it needs to be pruned a lot in small tanks.

I am sorry, but I will not be able to attend on Saturday because all of my children have ballgames and one also has a birthday party.
