May Meeting Trading Thread

You can just bring your completed membership form to the meeting and a check/ cash for dues and join on the spot. It might take a few weeks to get you a card, but other than that, it's pretty simple.

Quick question. I am not a member of this club but live in Hendersonville and ust gat started in saltwater about 2 months ago. Can I just come to the meeting and join there or is there some other process by which I must enter. Plus I have to work that day and would probably not be able to get there till around 4

OK. I apologize for taking so long to get some stuff up. I've been crazy busy. My wife is on a bicycle team and she was gone this weekend at a race, and so I was being Mr. mom + doing a ton to much needed tank maintenance. I got time to snap one pic and the rest of these are older but you'll get the idea. Also, I'm bringing several frags pretty much just to give away. I'm still waiting for my Red Sea Max to settle down before I add anything. It's going well so far. When I get it up it will be probably a place for some slow groing acros (torts), some spectacular acans, and I'd like to have it also store some really nice zoos. I'm gonna take my time with it and my 90 is crammed too full, so if you want to trade I'll need to take a rain check for a month or so.

I'm going to bring:

A few frags of purple tenius with the green rings at the growth tips ("crumbletop purple" -- coral on left).
FragSwap-2008-7.jpg

A few frags of cali tort (awesome coral - the purplish one in the middle).
Tank---Sep-2007---4.jpg

Some Green Star Polyps (long and neon green - bottom left in this full tank shot).
FragSwap-2008-3.jpg

One frag of a really awesome purple edge green cap. This is not the best pic. It is truely an awesome coral. Not a fast grower. I nursed this thing back from just about dead -- a piece I got from c_stowers a couple of years ago. The purple is so brilliant on the growth tips that it plays tricks on your eyes. Really amazing. The frag has been on my sand and so it doesn't have any growth edges, but it is a nice 1.5" or so frag. Here is an attempt at a pic of the mother colony:

I'm not sure which of these will be in the newbie raffle -- probably a few of them :D

EDIT: Anyone interested in any of these frags, LMK.
