May need to borrow some equipment

Hey guys. I'm just throwing this out there just incase we decide to go to MAX this weekend. Looking for a 2.5 gallon tank, a hang on filter, heater and light for a tank that size for just zoas. We will most likely be there for the weekend. Again this is not for sure but I'd like to have some kind of game plan for bringing back some goodies.
 
I have an extra 48 watt ballast for 24 inch t5ho and some reflectors but the only bulbs I have are actinic and a purple plus

What about just using a 5g bucket w/ a small heater and air pump for circulation? I would think you could get away without a light for a few days?

If I'm headed to MAX I'm sure not buying any common corals. Plus I have two of you on the side waiting for texts and pictures if I see anything nice LOL. And I'm sure I'll see a lot of nice items based on the vendors that will be there. Some of the top zoa/paly collectors will be there. And yes Robert I will actually be looking for the Jason fox disco fever paly. I know I first said no but now I want it :) I'd hate to blow big cash and for items to be neglected based on equipment. I think I'm set if we do head out, ill have a 5 gallon tank with a hang on skimmer, heater and led fixture. I'll be out there till mon/tues so it's awhile.
 
I went last year and it was fun. I only brought a cooler for corals though, I didn't stay too long. Have you been to the aquarium in long beach? The outdoor shark petting pool is awesome! If you get some cool stuff you'll have to frag it for the club! Lol. I have a non controllable betta bowl heater if you want. It's flat for laying on the bottom of a betta bowl.

Thanks. Yes the LBC aquarium is sweet. We did almost a week vacation down there went to Disneyland, the aquarium then all of the SoCal beaches. Anything you recommended as far as for kids? Then again maybe you have no kids and don't really look for those venues LOL. I did see a reef petting area at MAX atleast.... Trying to make it a family event even though the real reason is for MAX ha ha ha. Any tips besides staying there late Sunday for all of the fire deals :) I'll be there Saturday. Thanks
