can anyone tell me the speed of maze brain growth?? i purchased one as a frag in december and it seems to be vary slow grower?? is that normal for these guys?

A frag I got almost a year ago just recently overgrew the frag plug and onto the live rock. It looks awesome though

ok thx,for some input..mine seems to be finally healing and growing from when it was fraged ...but it is growing just vary slowly..

Yup, They are slow growers! I got a good size one a long time ago it was perfectly egg shaped. Over the years it started to recede in my nano tank so I placed it in my 55g . There it started to grow again but it kind of flattened out. After it flattened out at least it made it easy to frag. I did notice one of the frags that I have under LED's is growing a little faster and instead of spreading out it is growing high and also looking egg shaped like its mother.
