in this discussion,I am wondering why you folks weren't considering the pressure in your discussion of injectors. If you look at the tables for these injectors, it is clear that they work best with a pressure drop of 30 of 40 psi.
look on the tables at http://www.mazzei.net/industrial/tables.htm and it seems like one gets quite poor air volume performance compared to higher pressures.
I seems like the numbers they are talking about gpm of flow are actually flow through the system, not the rating of the pumps.
since 1 psi=2.31 ft of head, most pumps we are using don't give much more than 5 to 10 psi of presssure drop max. So performance isn't likely to be optimal with pumps like mag 7 has a max of 12.5 feet or approximately 5 psi pumping power.
I am not convinced these are the way to go. Can someone comment on why I don't have this right if I am thinking about it wrong.
