Mccosker's Wrasse

I was looking into getting this fish for my 29 gallon tank. I have heard from a few people that these fish die easily? I didn't find much searching around here but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and could offer some more information.
I am aware that they are picky eaters and I am willing to meet the needs.

I have several and am unaware of any problems with their eating. Mine eat cyclopeeze, mysis, flake, etc. They will not do well if you have a six lined wrasse as they will be harassed.

Alright, that helps.
I don't think he should be bothered by any of my other fish.
In my 29 I have:
1 clown goby
2 O.clowns
Getting a pygmy angel
+the mccosker wrasse

If anyone sees any problems with that stocking list let me know.

There is another thread that i started w/ my new MCcosker. I will tell you to QT him and leave the lights off for 24 Hrs. Then start to feed him some Mysis. Mine looked pretty bad when she arrived and now she is swimming around. Look in this forum I have a thread w/ the same title. Ther is some good advice, it helped me

a twenty nine gallon may be a bit too small though with that many other tank mates.

I second that. It maybe a bit crowded. The pygmy may show some aggression. They are active lil boogers. If you keep them in that tank make sure you stay up on your water changes or your will have some Ammonia issues. Make sure your filtration system is top notch.

McCoskers are beautiful but cover your tank . . . they WILL jump. Keeping the lights off for about a day is also good as they are light sensitive, more so than other flashers.
