i was talking to another guy who posted that pic on facebook he said that the people who have them said to make an offer on their website for a mated pair.
Posts like this and the lightning project make me so bad want to take the time to raise the fry from my goldflake maroons. My pair are wild caught and lay eggs religiously every few weeks. I'm pretty sure I'll get some nice morphs with these, Ora's pair (really similar to mine) has some serious differences in the patterns of the offspring and best of all fetch some nice coin.
Mine are nothing like the ones above but they aren't the normal gold bars.. Mean as crap though lol..
Here's the male in the tank I got them from the female has a little different (better imo) pattern than the male not as separated as the male they connect in a few spots vertically and horizontally not like a standard gold bar maroon.
Yeah that's the plan. In the grand scheme of my frag tank room they are gonna have a dedicated 30g nem tank with a few rocks and only the rainbow roses. With a lot of strategically placed tiles, and pipes so the eggs will be easy to remove if needed and also can be separated from the main tanks the hatch night to be able to gather the babies easier. I have everything ready to go up just need to plumb it and find the time..
. But I may just have a friend raise them as he's already set up and breeding clowns now.. 50/50 profit on designer clowns is better than coral food that they are contributing now. =)..
