Heck, any clown can become very mean/aggressive, even more so when they are spawning. I had to sell my pink skunk pair (( suppose to be docile )) because of how aggressive they became once they were spawning regularly.
my friends tank has some very aggressive tank mates and she wants to add a clown. i told her maroon but she cant decide.so i figured id get the popular opinion
the biggest bullyy is a sargent major damsel. theres also a purple tang .those are the 2 bullies but there is also an undulated trigger who is calm and minds his own buisness hes pretty small only about an inch and a half.
Undys are usually not only kept in species only tanks but from what I have seen they are usually kept alone in a tank. They have a SERIOUS tendency to go nuts and kill everything in a tank overnight.
If you take the trigger out of the equation I think a Maroon or Tomato would do just fine.
I think at the current growth rate im still ok for awhile.I've read up on them.its hard for her to get things to live in this tank for some reason and no1 can pin point it.im pretty well seasond and I cant figure it out aswell as some serious long time reefers.so he's going to be staying for a bit.
