so i noticed a string of my lights staying on very dim after the timmer goes off so i unplug the controller still light can only notice with lights off. unplug the driver light flickers then finally goes out. so i call rapid and they say meanwell is aware of the problem and that its not covered under the warranty. that its just stray voltage and too unplug it. lol ***. there is obviously a problem that should be covered under warranty the other 6 drivers i have dont have this problem. so i guess my question is has anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it

It's been reported from time to time with the ELN drivers, I am assuming that is what you have. Seems like the three options are:

1) Buy another one and hope it doesn't have the same problem
2) Put the entire rig (including controller) on a mechanical timer or outlet controlled by a reef controller and turn it all off at night
3) Just ignore it. Pretend it's a moonlight. Or something along those lines :D

lol good choices i actually talked to mean well and they said they were not aware of the problem like rapid had said and to ship it to them and they will replace it.

Yeah I have the same problem as well One string of 12 blues(out of total of 6) stays on very dim all the time. I too contacted Rapid a while back.
And I basically got the same answer as you "They are aware of the problem blah blah blah etc.."
That being said IMHO its not hurting anything. The lights are so dim that they don't even qualify as moonlight.
And everyday they come back on with np. When I first noticed it ( about 4months after I built them) I did all kinds of voltage testing trying to figure out the problem to no avail.
I will tell you that the leak is minute.
Given the lifespan of LEDs I'm personally not worried about it and mine have been running like a year and a half now
