Media basket for nuvo 40

im using 2 filter socks while the tank cycles but once i get a couple fish in there id like to replace one of the socks with this....
what should i put in it?
im not running a skimmer

I run filter floss in the top portion, denitrate in mesh bags in the middle, and chemi pure blue in the bottom in both my IM 40s.
