Well you can try but most seem to have gone to other ways because just not getting the results. The new big thing is the BACTO Balls from Fauna Marin, some are calling them Magic Balls because of the results they are getting. Here is a review from a German fella off Google.

The Accel Aquatics (Used to be sold under Hydra Aquatics) bio pellet reactor is excellent if you are wanting to do pellets. Uses a flow accelerator pointed downward that creates a pretty good even tumble for biopellets. Also, if you are looking for any recommendations for bio pellets themselves, Ecobak and Ecobak plus are great products. I've been using the plus version for about 3 years or so.
Thanks Gimpy! As a matter of fact the accel aquatics is the one I decided in. The video from Marine Depot sold me on it. Loved the accelerater pount downward awsome action on the biopellets. Great price as well. One problem though, I called marine depot to order one and they are out of stock ETA 3 months. Also saw them in a website called SoCal Reef but they have no contact number only email contact which I didn't like. Have you ever heard off them? I can't find them anywhere else any clue where I can get one? Glad you told me about Accel Aquatics. Thanks Gympy.

Glad to help! Unfortunately, I haven't dealt with Socal reef so I can't provide help there. Now that I look, it seems like the reactor is hard to buy outside of marine depot, which is interesting. The older hydra aquatics version I have was sold several places. Anyway, hope you can get one sooner than 3 months. :beer:
