he's a 6" peacock.
he lives in a 12 gal with a roommate yellow tail damsel.
anything that goes in the tank is history in no time except the damsel.
he loves snails but gets them only as a twice a week treat.
his other treats are silversides and formula one.
since all these are treats, you might ask what is his main food.
I'm glad you asked, it is ................. tada .......... New Life Spectrum, large and small pellets and he loves searching for them all day.

btw, the 12 gal is connected to a total 70gal reef system ;)

For some reason I can't see the last two pics though.

you should be able to see them now, sorry.

here is a full tank picture:

and his roommate in front of the entrance where she always hangs out.
the yellowtail damsel must be female and MC must think he can get some, otherwise I can't explain why she hasn't become a snack yet, she's always in easy reach of his smashers. :D

He is also constantly remodeling and there is no use to even bother trying to arrange rock in any way.

thats way too small of a tank even though it is connected to a larger system, dont be suprised if it starts getting upset...and is roaming around alot more and swimming towards the surface

I agree with mattyice. 12 gal isn't enough. The recommended volume for an animal is the volume given for it to roam around. A full grown peacock needs about 30 gal or more. While yours isn't "full grown" at 6 inches, it will get bigger, and it is a hassle to move them. Besides, 12 gal isn't enough for a 6 inch peacock anyways.

other than that, looks like a nice setup and a sweet mantis. And I love the name! Just take the setup and make a bigger version of it.

thanks for the advice.
the 12 gal is as much as I can go at this time (no space whatsoever).
he doesn't move around swimming, he crawls between his three entrances, rear left, rear right and center front.
most of the time he sticks his head out the front center and watches me, I'm working from home, so I sit there most of the day.
very seldom is he swimming up on the walls maybe for 1 or two trials and then goes back on the ground.
I think he is from japan (exchange student) and is used to live in a small efficiency, or he was a student living in a dorm room :D
since I only want the best for my animals, I'm willing to trade him for a smaller peacock, up to 3", but I must know he goes to a good home and must know the smaller one was living with his/her owner for some time.
this would be best arranged locally.
