I had one of these die to a vortech that goes off when i feed - it got inside to get some algae that was in the vortech and when the mp40 came on, it couldnt get out - i did see it a few minutes later, but it never recovered and died (it did swim away but i never saw it afterwards). So now I got another one - it will bite on rocks, even though there is no algae, it does it some of the frozen reef food i throw in, and it sometimes digs in the sand - I do know they dont need to eat alot, since lifestyle is stationary - mine seems fat but i never see it eat much, and never saw it eat in QT - it didnt lose weight for a couple of weeks.

he seems to like to eat the frozen food i feed the fish he swims all over the tank to get it at feeding time

Very cool. We have one too and call it "The Garg" as in Gargoyle. He perches on things and looks like a Gargoyle on a building.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. Great fish, eats everything I put in the tank. Also seems to like to come check people out when they get close to the tank.

Mine eats algae. Anybody else notice they poop alot. My Blue Tang follows it around and eats it's poop. Too funny!

yes they eat hair algae at least that what they say i don't have any in my tank but if i get some the blenny will get it.
