Meeting at Aquatic Critter (June 10)

FWIW, if anyone would like to ride with me from Murfreesboro, I'd be more than happy to have someone. I've got room for three, technically. :) Although you'll have to live with our little Altima... hehe.

What time on the 10th?

The meeting will start at 6pm. This is going to be a great meeting, folks :) Thanks a bunch to AC for all they are doing!

Will there be name tags at the meeting?

If so, would everyone put both names (real name and board name) on it.

There will be name tags.

I also have a whole heap of t-shirts from our last swap that I would like to give away to members. I'm not sure of the sizes, but I'll bring them with me to the meeting.

i need to rejoin again...i'll take XL :) can't wait for the meeting...I am getting my new tank Friday right before setup....life is good!

I have a friend that is visiting this weekend. I think they might be interested in coming. Always looking to entrap a newbie for the hobby. So that will make 3 of us coming. Me and Lupe being members.

Hey guys. I am a SEASL member (St. Louis). I used to live in nashville, but that was before I got into the hobby. I will be visiting nashville and the surrounding area this weekend. So what is your policy for non-members? I would love to come to the meeting at the critter. I love that place. Is it the one on Nolensville Rd.?

Not going to be able to make this meeting, once again. Baby is coming next month, and my wife's family is throwing a huge baby shower for us in PA.

Can I still get frags? :p

I'll let somebody chime in specifically for this next meeting, but I think the general policy is this...

Non-members are always welcome at (and encouraged to come to) our meetings. The availability of raffles, frags from fragging demos, discounts, etc., depend on how many people attend, how much stuff there is to give away, and who is responsible for running them.

Reading from our bylaws:

Section 2.1: A SEASL member may attend LFS meetings if he or she provides spectacularly colored ricordea frags to any and all MTRC members present, and 2 frags to the club president :D

Really, you are very welcome to attend. It should be a great meeting!

Yes it is the one on Nolensville. http://www.aquaticcritter.com/

There is a strict non member flogging policy (I'm all over the flogging, huh-it gets people moving, though, especially when you break out the cane whips:)).

Sorry Crumbletop; as an original member; I'm sure we wrote the bylaws as: SEALS owe all members 2, and the officers what is left over!
After all; the officers are paid to be there :), which means they can afford to buy what we "commoners" can't!
