Sorry the date was so confusing to some of you! I was trying to accomodate the most people and just ended up confusing folks

. It looks like we will have a nice turn out and I will get plenty of fish mush ingrediants. It looks like I am going to have to make a huge batch so I will make a more fish only batch which will naturally be a little cheaper per bag and then a more coral targeted batch since we have such a large amount of folks wanting in. For a base point the bags typically run about $5 a bag to make up. I take a total list of cost and see how many 1 cup servings we get and do the math. I am ordering Coral frenzy today, my tank has always liked this stuff and I am almost out.
As far as people comming later its fine as long as we are wrapped up talking for the kids to get in bed at a decent hour for school

. So don't "not" come just because you can't make it till 4...like Wayne said, its more of a social gathering sometimes and can last quite awhile since we all become freinds as we get to know each other over the years and enjoy just hangin out with others who appriciate our passion.
My hubby had 3 guys over for the race yesterday and they hardley noticed the 270 gallons 3 feet away from the couch! CAN YOU BELIVE IT??? But, our hobby is just weird to lots of folks...including my hubby  What kills me is when a non-reef-geek comes over and is mezmarized by something as simple as the cool crabs and snails and kinda notices an anemonie and the "nemo" but might as well be looking in at a goldfish tank. Reefers enjoy getting together so we can appriciate each other and enjoy the amazing things we keep in our tanks.
I am also glad to see more gals getting involved. It was always amazing to me that it is a guy dominated hobby especially since typically the woman stays home with the kids and its a great hobby to spend time on. Maybe its just the men who log on to reef sites and all and its not a true representation of the amount of women who do it as a hobby. I
think its great to do it together as a couple hobby, my hubby has never even lifted a water jug hardley. Totally uninterested other than talking to his buddies like he is the master coral know it all when we have company.

I get tickeled at him explaining the tank and corals to folks... but don't contradict him out of respect, especially since they are clueless as him themselves. He has picked up on some lingo over the years but the main thing is he lets me have it and that is awsome!
