Is there a meeting tommorow? Is so what time and where? I am new to California and would like to join the club. Are there any fees or anything else that I should be aware of? Thank you and hope to meet some of you!

Yes there is, Friday at 7 (ish) at the Round Table Pizza, near the intersection of Madison & Greenback near ACE Hardware at the edge of Folsom.

We'll be discussing water quality, testing, and some test equipment calibration.

Here's the membership page and you can click the link for a printable application, fill it out and bring it to the meeting with you (and $25). Sorry, no Pay-Pal yet...

Welcome!
How better to spend a Friday night? ;)
Round Table gives us a discount on the pizza if you let them know you are with the MARS meeting.

You can pay for the membership fee at the MARS meeting. Our club secretary usually have membership forms. The $25 is for the calendar year (Jan - Dec). The membership is well worth it. You get to participate in the frag swaps (MARS and BAR), get discount at some LFS, and sometimes get great price on frags from fellow members. (Karl and Tim sometimes sell LE corals to members at a greatly reduced price before offering to the general public at a higher price.)

The meeting can get pretty crowded at time, so you may want to arrive a little early to order your food and get a seat. If you order right when the meeting start - your order may not be done until the meeting is almost over. Our meeting sometimes are standing room only. If you do have kids - some of the members asks that you keep them under control (quiet) out of respect for the speaker and fellow members.
