I thought we decided that the frag swap was our meeting. It would be good to start thinking of where to have Feb.'s meeting. If no-one else is interested in hosting Tammy and I are always glad to have it here. I hope everyone is having a freat year so far. Also tell Brad to get off his lazy;'/ and go to work so you have more money to spend. lol See ya Jason

Petco Decatur is willing to host us again. We can have it there again in February or March if you'd like. I don't know if 8Ball is ready to have us yet. I suppose that he will let us know when he is ready to show off his big new set up - hint, hint

I wondered why my ears were ringing this morning
I've been done with the tank for a while minus the shelf around the front of it.. I'm still kicking around what I want to do. I priced granite and it was a little high IMO..(If someone knows a good granite or solid surface place I'm all ears BTW) So I'm leaning back to making it out of wood with inlaid marlboro. But anyway that doesn't really matter as far as the meeting goes. I figured we would wait till we got it stocked a little more just so there is more to look at. John has been having some trouble getting some of the fish I want so right now there just isn't much in it. A 300 Looks a little odd with a handful of fish in it haha. We could probably host one in a couple of months.. Maybe by then I'll have atleast a couple more fish and have my shelf done. The solar tubes haven't been very bright the past month or so though due to winter and just all the cloudy rainy days. So if folks are wanting to see them in good form it would probably have to be closer to spring. But I mean as far as that goes we could always host one in march or something then host another on in the summer sometime if enough people were interested in coming back. We don't mind hosting. The meetings really aren't any trouble.. As you know I don't even have to cook for them :rollface:

8Ball are you looking for granite tiles. I have some gray tiles that I think Don will sell you or trade for coral frags.

We could host one at our house possibly April or May. We have limited parking but people could ride together or block each other in the drive. So first come last leave. LOL

So, should I talk to Decatur Petco for February, then? They are always so nice to us and their livestock is very reasonably priced. I picked up three nice Emerald Crabs the other days and they were a little over 5 dollars each. In comparison, CRA charges $10 for one nowadays. The trio is in very good condition and busy cleaning my bubble aglae. The condition of their fish looked really good, too. I think it's worth going back there.
If someone else is willing to host us in February, I am more than happy to accept the offer, though. If you want to visit another store such as the one in Nashville for a change, I am willing to talk to the shop and arrange a meeting, too.

They have been very busy and rather reluctant to host a club lately. Aquarium business usually slows down some in Spring when people start hitting outdoors like in April or May. We may be able to talk CRA into hosting us then. If not, we can consider taking a field trip to a shop in Nashville or the McWane (?) center in Bham... Any idea or suggestion for future meeting?
