Megaflo question...help!

My parents' megaflo system's bulkheads don't have threads for standard pvc fittings...why is that? How do you plumb those bad boys? the output is a 1 1/4" and the return is 3/4. Has anyone run into this problem before? WHy can't I use regular pvc plumbing on this?

They are intended for hoses.... You can just put a short piece of hose into an adapter for hard plumbing if that's what you want. Or order some slip or threaded bulkheads..

Everything on the kits is just slip fittings. No need to thread anything on inside of the mega flow box. I just plumbed mine with flex tubing.
