Melbourne aragonite source

If I recall there was a HD out in melbourne that was ordering pallets of aragonite sand that some of the club members were purchasing. Has this source dried up? I'm looking for 900 lbs.

That is quite a bit of sand...Are you building a coral pool? How many gallons are you using that for? I think there was a Lowes that had aragonite, but I don't know where it is.

lowes to my knowledge cut the contract with the company that was supplying the aragonite sand/paver sand. they have a new contract with a company in sanford for their sand now. Its silica sand.

So much for that. Yeah, it's a lot of sand. I'm doing a couple of 4" beds.

cschweitzer, how is that 30 working out for you?

It is great. One of my 30's is about to be added to a new 50 to give me some room to work with. Most of the stuff I got from you is in that one. The xenia almost all died off...and then came back with a vengance. All the sps on the one rock with the colt are all doing well. The little plate broke off the rock and is now in the 55 (It's a pretty cool white and orange combo). Everything you gave me was just great. And you called it a fish only holding tank when you sold it to me...yeah right!!
