well that depends on you. How much rock do you want in the tank. Some rock is lighter then others too. BUt i think the magic number your looking for is 1.5lb - 2lbs per gallon.
FYI: i have 200lbs in my 120 if that helps a bit. so just under 2lbs a gallon but i could use some more just been lazy after i bought the first batch.
