Lets see........ I bought a green brain coral that is about the size of my palm..... I also got a green torch with about 5 heads on it.... i'm not sure why I focused on so much green but it's ok because I didn't have much green in my tank anyway........I got a green acan with more than a few heads on it....... Hmmmm.... oh yeah! I also got a great deal on a Pink birdsnest a little bigger than a golf ball.
The last picture there is of my candy cane coral. Several of the heads are starting to split again. I had to take it out of the sand so they would have more room to grow.
I plan on building a canopy for this tank within the next few weeks. My boyfriend can get metal halide bulbs, ballasts, and everything else needed to build my own fixture for WAY cheaper than online at his electrical supply warehouse. We decided to get rid of my power compact light and added another t-5 in the mean time. I plan on having two 250 watt halides with 3 t-5 bulbs two actinic and one 10,000k. Hopefully my few sps will really appreciate the brighter lighting and show it!
