Mesh tank lid securing help

Hello I bought a mesh and frame tank lid kit and it looks ok but it only rests on top of the tank with no fittings to secure it.

I'm using a couple bits of tape to hold it at the sides because I have a firefish in there and she darts around and probably could easily shift it.

It's only a holding tank so it doesn't need to be perfect but want some better than tape.

Any ideas?

You would have to re-do the screen top if it is resting on top of the tank and not sitting in the perimeter if you want to use those tabs recommended above. I made tabs similar by buying a think acrylic and using a heat gun to bend small tabs around a wood mold. Cost like $3 and took 20 minutes to do.

I printed screen connectors/corners on my 3d printer that have an lip on them to go around the outside edge to keep the screen in place.

I have an acrylic tank and I affixed two half-inch by half-inch Rods the entire width of the tank, one along the front of the tank and one on the back on the top. My screens fit very tight in between. I have fire fish and tile fish who are all big jumpers and they cannot get out.
