For those that don't know, a 3rd degree burn means all your skin has died. Dead skin doesn't grow back. If anything grows, the scar tissue looks horrible.
Are they planning on doing a skin graft to help bridge the gap and cover the wound?
Thanks for keeping us informed of your progress. Your pictures have already helped. A couple of weeks ago, my 8 year took apart an electric pencil sharpener while it was still plugged in!. He was lucky he didn't get shocked. I told him never ever do that again because you can get shocked. He looked at me like 'Dude what's your problem, why are you making a big deal about this'? After your pictures first came out, I showed him and his little brother what can happen if you're not careful with electricity. Thanks to you, they are finally convinced they don't want to get shocked.
