I have two different light set ups.
First is two 150 watt G-12 AquaticLife Metal Halide pendants. The pendant itself is discontinued but the G12 bulbs are availalbe on most online reef stores. You can get them on Amazon. This comes with two lightly used 6500K bulbs (less than a month burn). $120 for both of them. They are "swing arm" pendants, but I would hang them (I don't have hanging kits).
2nd are two 400 W magnetic ballasts with two "bat wing" reflectors. Lots of light and you can have a TON of lights to figure out which one you want to use. $120.
