Metronidazole for Internal Parasite?

Hi,

I think my newly acquired false clown has some sort of internal parasite problem. He is not really eating and has started to hang out in one corner of the tank. I see white stringy type of poop hanging out. When this happens in cichlids, it's usually a symptom of internal parasite and use metronidazole for a cure. Now, I have read on this forum mentioning metro as cure for internal parasite. I have a cleanup crew, a shrimp, and two corals (see my signature for detail). Can I use metro in my tank to cure my clown? If not, any other suggestions? Thanks!

I suggest moving the fish to a treatment tank for this.

I agree with SAT ... QT is appropriate.

No offence but a 20 gallon tank is very small by SW standards and 4 fish would be considered "overstocked" by most .. something that will impact the health of your fish ... worth a bit of research.

Thanks for the comment. I got the blenny for algae control purpose, and it will most likey be removed from the tank soon.
