MH Bulb Distance From Water

I am running a 250W and a 400W about 9 inches from the water. I was wondering how high everyone else is runnning their MH's above the water's surface. What is your tank size, # and wattage of MH's, and the distance they are from the water.

That's about right. I'm a 250 w at exactly the same distance: glass-protected unit, in/out fans, 2 double-tube actinics.
